Let me ask you a question: Have you ever found yourself suddenly in fear and lack around money?
You stop spending, even on things you really need, and before long you feel anxiety in your body every time you swipe that credit card – even at the grocery store.
I call this a scarcity mindset and it’s one I’ve personally experienced at certain times in my life. I most profoundly experienced it in the summer of 2017 when I lost a stable consulting job that I’d had for 3 years and suddenly found myself without any regular income. Suddenly, I had to hustle, and fast, if I was going to pay my rent and car payments. For the first time in my life, I found myself in a complete panic that I wouldn’t pay my bills. Every time I bought something, I held my breath and felt like I couldn’t breathe. It was awful for me – physically, emotionally and energetically.
I knew I had to shift from that, and fast. Why?
Because the worse and most unfortunate thing about this scarcity mindset is that it is entirely, 100% self-fulfilling.
The more I started to believe that money was scarce and prohibit myself from purchasing and investing in the things I needed and desired, the less money was flowing to me, and the less I had to spend.
How did I stop it? I had to shift my energy out of fear, lack and scarcity and back into believing there being enough.
If you’ve found yourself caught up in a scarcity money mindset- at ANY point in your life – I encourage you to watch this quick, 6-minute video, on Shifting OUT of a Scarcity Mindset and back into the abundance of, “There is always enough.”
There is always enough, my love.
There is actually MORE than enough.
Watch this video and you’ll understand what I mean. As you watch it, I want you remember this mantra. Feel it in your body. Breathe in and out as you repeat “There is always enough,” and tell me how you shift as you do.
